I can address a variety of data and analytics needs. Here are a few things I can help with.
Need to make sense of your data? Don't know how to convert your data into valuable information for decision-making?
Need to increase the quality and usefulness of your data? Need to merge it with other sources? Or generally prepare it for analysis?
Need to collect and analyze data to make better business decisons?
Need to train your employees to think critically about data or use data tools?
Need to prepare quality charts, graphs, or visualizations to communicate information to others?
Do you find yourself repeating the same tasks with your data over and over and would like to automate it?
I will customize data and analytics trainings to fit your organization's needs. Here are some training courses I have developed for different clients.
Before moving to Illinois to be a Professor of Accounting Data and Analytics at NIU,
I worked at the University of New Mexico, where I developed the accounting data and
analytics curriculum and taught accounting information systems.
I’ve provided data and analytics training for a variety of organizations,
including the City of Santa Fe, Sandia National Labs, Information Systems
Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Albuquerque Chapter, and Illinois Society of
Association Executives.
During the summer of 2017 I worked with the Business Intelligence group at Sandia
National Labs creating and researching Data Visualizations.
My MIS Ph.D. had a heavy data mining and analytics emphasis. Data and analytics has been a passion of mine since.
